I bought 1000 shares of Apple on 9/15 at $117.50. I have been selling Calls and today I sold another. I sold 10 AAPL 10/2/20 $118.75 Calls for a premium of 50¢ for $500.
Sell to Open 10 AAPL 10/2/20 $118.75 C @ 50¢ (+$500)
This is not a great premium for a stock that I paid $117.50, but it’s only a 3 day Call on a stock that’s $3 Out-of-the-Money. It is $500, so I’ll take it and put it onto my yearly profit.
