This week I had 4 positions come to an end. It ended up being a nice week but I still working hard to get my trading funds up to the point where I can draw 3 or 4 thousand a month. I’m still holding a bunch of stock which I’m not ready to sell yet because they’re still going up.

4/22/19 – Sell to Open 1 NFLX 4/26/19 $380.00 C @ $2.50 (+$250)
4/23/19 – Buy to Close 1 NFLX 4/26/19 $380.00 C @ $6.50 (-$650)
4/23/19 – Sell to Open 1 NFLX 5/3/19 $385.00 C @ $7.50 (+$750)
4/25/19 – Buy to Close 1 NFLX 5/3/19 $385.00 C @ $1.50 (-$150)
Profit $200
With Netflix I sold a Covered Call against shares I own. The stock moved too good and I didn’t want to get assigned so I did a Rollout. After the Rollout the stock came down and on expiration day I didn’t get assigned. Not a huge profit but I made $200.
Advanced Micro Devices
4/22/19 – Sell to Open 10 AMD 4/26/19 $29.00 C @ 30¢ (+$300)

Profit +$300
I previously owned 1000 shares of AMD and I sold a 10 contract Call. The stock did not go above my Strike Price so I keep the premium and I keep my stock. I’ll try to sell another Call this coming week. The premium was $300.
Nvidia

I bought 100 shares of NVDA for the sole purpose of doing a Grasshopper trade. I sold a 1 contract Call. I love the stock but I didn’t care if I was assigned or not. With NFLX I really didn’t want to get assigned so I made an adjustment trade, with NVDA the stock went up above my Strike Price but I didn’t do a Rollout. The stock came back down and I wasn’t assigned. I hope to sell another Call Monday.

I bought 100 shares of RH to do another Grasshopper Trade. I sold the Call. The stock was above the Strike Price all week but at the close on Friday the stock closed a few cents below so I was not assigned. Again, I hope to sell another Call on Monday.
Not a bad week for making mostly Grasshopper Trades. These are great trade to learn from if you are a beginner. Even if you’re not, each trade brought me a return of over 1% in the week. I love these trades!

I’ll be up early Monday trying to get all these Calls sold again. Let’s see how the market opens and where NFLX, AMD, NVDA and RH are. Hopefully higher and I get a nice premium for each.
