Last week I bought 800 shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and sold an 8 contract Call. I also owned 500 Shares of Cree (CREE) and sold a 5 contract Call. On Friday Cree closed above my Strike Price and I was assigned. I no longer own Cree. With the extra money available in my account, from the Cree stock sale, I just bought 200 additional shares of AMD. AMD is coming out with a lot of new products and the stock has a buy rating. I think I’ll be messing around with AMD for a little while so these additional 200 shares gives me 1000 in my account.
Buy 200 Shares AMD @ $28.90
Today the market is a little weak and AMD is down a bit. Let’s watch to see what the market does and what I do with AMD.
