I bought 1000 shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) on 8/27 at $24.90. I sold a Call against these shares which will expire at the close today. With the stock at $25.15 I decided to get out of this position. As I wrote in a post yesterday, I feel the stock is in “over bought” territory and I didn’t want to hold the shares going into the long weekend. My Strike Price on my Call is $26 so I feel I’m safe being Naked for the next half hour.
8/27/18 – Buy 1000 Shares AMD @ $24.90
8/31/18 – Sold 1000 Shares AMD @ 25.15
