I have 100 shares of Netflix in my Gift Account. Yesterday I bought another 100 shares going into earnings. When I bought these shares I placed an order to sell a $330 Call. I’m very happy I didn’t get filled before the market closed and earnings were announced. The earnings were great and the stock was up 6% in after hours. Today NFLX is up $28 as I write, almost 10%. With the stock flying I just bought another 100 shares at $333.85. In a few minutes since I bought the last 100 shares it’s up $3. In the next day or so I’ll make a decision if I want to sell a Call on these shares or not. I might just hold and hopefully watch it grow. I now own 300 shares of NFLX.
