Results Week Ending 5/19/17

I’m a little late with this report. This weekend I had a birthday and I went to my daughter’s house in Pennsylvania for 3 days. I will continue the celebration today, I’m traveling to Texas to visit a few of their great cities. I’ll fly into Dallas to visit with an old FDNY friend who was also a member of the NYC Fire Dept. basketball team. I’ll stay there a few days before I drive to Austin and possibly San Antonio. I’ll be back home in my office in NYC next Wednesday. I know how to celebrate my birthday!

I’ll be on my email and I’ll be watching the market but I probably won’t make too many post.

Let’s see how I did last week with my 2 trades that came to an end. 1 was with RH and the other was with Micron (MU).

RH

I owned 2000 shares of RH and have been selling Calls against these shares for a while now. I had a 20 contract Call which expired this Friday. This Call gave me a premium of $1.00 for a total of $2000. With the expiration of the Call I keep the $2000 and I keep my stock. I’m late with this post because of my birthday weekend and it’s now Monday afternoon. This morning I sold my shares of RH. Here’s the “Sell to Open” and the “Expiration” orders of the Call that expired Friday.

 Sell to Open 20 RH 5/19/17 $58.50 C @ $1.00 (+$2000)

 Expired 20 RH 5/19/17 $58.50 C

Profit +$2000

Micron

I was in the same boat with Micron (MU) as I was with RH. I’ve owned the shares for a while and have been selling Calls. I had a 20 contract Call which gave me a premium of 25¢ for $500. This Call expired on Friday so I keep the premium. I didn’t get assigned so I also keep the stock. I’ll try to sell another Call this week. Here’s the “Sell to Open” and “Expiration” orders for MU.

Sell to Open 20 MU 5/19/17 $29 C @ 25¢ (+$500)

Expired 20 MU 5/19/17 $29 C

Profit +$500

It was a pretty good week but I didn’t get my $3000 I desire. Let’s see what I can do this week.

Total Weekly Gain +$2500

I’m Off to Texas!
