If you read my Results Week Ending 4/21/17 I mentioned I had to leave my desk early on Friday because of an appointment. Also, if you read my post Bought 2000 shares Micron you will see I put in an order to sell 20 contracts of Micron Covered Calls with a 50¢ premium on the order. Well, after I left my desk on Friday I was executed on those Calls. The order was to sell 20 contract of the Micron (MU) 4/28/17 $27.50 Calls. Here’s the order:
Sell to Open 20 MU 4/28/17 $27.50 C @ 50¢ (+$1000)
The post I mentioned above “Bought 2000 Shares Micron” was reporting me buying the shares. With the buying of the shares and the selling a 20 contract Call makes this a Covered Call. I give this option trade a Risk Factor 1.
