Hello “Main Street beats Wall Street” readers. I landed at Newark Airport at 1pm. Right now it’s 3:30 and I’m back to work. My son picked us up at the airport. I hung out with him for a little while; he had to run because he was going to the Mets game with his firehouse and I opened my computer.
At about 3:25 I sold a Call on GoPro (GPRO). I own 2000 shares that are down from where I bought and I’ve been selling Calls against the shares since 1/5/16. I just keep bringing in premium money, and I’ll do it as long as I can. I already have a Call sold on the shares but it expire this Friday and I don’t think I’ll get assigned so I just sold another which will expire 7/15/16. I sold 20 contracts of the GPRO 7/15/16 $11 Calls and brought in a premium of $.25. On the 2000 shares that’s $500. Here’s the order form:
Sell to Open 20 GPRO 7/15/16 $11 C @ $.25 (+$500)
The Calls I just sold I’ll give a Risk Factor of 3. I give it a 3 because at the moment it’s a Naked Call. Today the stock is at $9.67. I have an $11 Call on the shares that will expire this Friday. I do not think the stock will get to $11. If I’m right that Call will expire and the Call I just sold will be covered with the 2000 shares I own. Right now the 2000 shares are covering the Call that will expire on Friday. If you have any questions on this move please email me. You must understand this move.
It was an unbelievable trip but it’s always great getting home. Let’s make some money!
