Happy Father’s Day – And a Strong Week in the Market!

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there!

It was a rainy weekend here in New York but I still had a great time with my family. Among my guests were my son and daughter.

My son Stephen is a Captain with the NYC Fire Department. He was with his wife, Bria, who is a Special Education teacher with the NYC Board of Education, and their beautiful son, Sullivan. My daughter, Jaclyn, a CPA, was here with her husband, Bob, a computer engineer, and their 2 kids, Mason and Sophie.

Not only did I enjoy a great Father’s Day—I’m truly a blessed man!

I also had a pretty good week of trading, and I’m happy with the outcome of all my positions. Here’s a breakdown of what I did this past week:

📈 Weekly Trading Recap

Super Micro Computer (SMCI)

I own 200 shares at $41. I sold two Covered Calls with a $42.50 strike price. They expired worthless, so I kept the $210 premium. On Friday, I sold another Call for next week.

6/6/25 – Sell to Open 2 SMCI 6/13/25 $42.50 C @ $1.05 → +$210

6/13/25 – Expired

 Profit: +$210

I own 200 shares at $56. I sold two Calls at a $57 strike and collected $430. They also expired worthless without assignment. On Friday I sold another Call for next week.

Hims & Hers Health (HIMS)

6/6/25 – Sell to Open 2 HIMS 6/13/25 $57.00 C @ $2.15 → +$430

6/13/25 – Expired

 Profit +$430

RobinHood (HOOD)

I suspected a reversal after a big run, so I sold three Naked Calls at the $79 strike. The stock stayed well below, and the options expired worthless.

6/6/25 – Sell to Open 3 HOOD 6/13/25 $79.00 C @ $1.85 → +$555

6/13/25 – Expired

 Profit +$555

Applied Digital Corp (APLD)

I sold a $13 Put and was assigned, so I now own 400 shares. I anticipated the assignment and sold four Calls at the same strike, making it a Covered Call.

6/9/25 – Sell to Open 4 APLD 6/13/25 $13.00 P @ 53¢ → +$ 212

6/13/25 – Assigned

 Profit +$212

Oracle (ORCL)

ORCL has been on a big run. I felt the stock was going to continue moving up and I sold a Put. I was correct and I was not assigned. I’ll take the premium and put it in my mattress.

6/9/25 – Sell to Open 1 ORCL 6/13/25 $167.50 P @ $2.55 → +$255

6/13/25 – Expired

 Profit +$255

CoreWeave (CRWV)

CRWV is a very volatile albeit hot stock. When the stock was up at $161 I sold a $131 Put. The stock did not come close to my Strike Price. No assignment!

6/9/25 – Sell to Open 1 CRWV 6/13/25 $131.00 P @ $2.00 → +$200

6/13/25 – Expired

 Profit +$200

Oracle (ORCL)

I sold another Put on ORCL for the same reason as above. Above I had a Strike of $167.50 and this one was $170. Neither one was assigned.

6/11/25 – Sell to Open 1 ORCL 6/13/25 $170.00 P @ $2.90 → +$290

6/13/25 – Expired

 Profit +$290

   💰Total Weekly Gain +$2152
