Out of Palantir Calls

I bought 2 Palantir (PLTR) Calls on Jan 16th. When buying Calls I recommend going out at least a few months with the Expiration Date. With these Calls I went out to June.

The stock has been moving and today I heard a report that there is some insider selling. I decided to join them and take some profit. I bought these 2 Call with the premium at $12 and I just sold with the premium at $19.60.

1/16/25 – Buy to Open 2 PLTR 6/20/25 $70.00 C @ $12.00

1/24/25 – Sell to Close 2 PLTR 6/20/25 $70.00 C @ $19.60

Profit +$1520

I held this position for 8 days and I have a Return on Investment (ROI) of $1520. I invested $2400 for the 2 Calls and pulled out $3920. This is a ROI of +63.3% in 8 days.

I will watch the stock to see if it pulls back with some profit taking and make a decision when to get back in. I will be getting back in!
