Sold 1 of My Tesla LEAPS, Another huge Gain!

Apple and Tesla are on the move again. At this point the stocks are reacting to the splits as stocks did back in the 90’s. If you look at my “Active Trades/Current Positions” page you will see all my positions with the 2 splitting stocks. If the stocks continue I will have an insane few weeks.

With both moving up today I just sold 1 of my Tesla LEAPS Calls. Don’t get me wrong. I didn’t sell 1 of my positions because I think their run is over, I just like locking in profit. I still have a lot invested to enjoy the gains if the stock moves up more today. And as of right now, they are.

If Tesla fluctuates down during the session I will be buying this position again.

I bought this position yesterday and I just sold it. I held it for 24 hours and I locked in $5000. I got a 13.6% ROI in this short time.

8/25/20 – Buy to Open 1 TSLA 1/15/21 $2000.00 C @ $365.00

8/26/20 – Sell to Close 1 TSLA 1/15/21 $2000.00 C @ $415.00

Profit +$5000 

As I write Tesla is up $81 and Apple up $5. My account is up big!
