I have a lot of trades to report the results of, but I want to start by welcoming the new subscribers. Please understand Main Street beats Wall Street<\/strong> is not a \u201cget rich quick\u201d scheme. All traders slip up once in a while, but for the most part I\u2019m very careful. Because of my high school basketball coaching I didn\u2019t make my first trade of 2019 until the first week of March. Without making trades in January and February I still managed to have a return of 101% for 2019. The DOW, NASDAQ and S&P were up between 25% and 35% for a great year. But 101%? That\u2019s the power of options. And the funny thing is I think I could have done better.<\/p>\n

Study, stay discipled, adapt to a \u201cslow and steady, steady and slow\u201d philosophy, do not buy short term options, stick to a well though out plan, and send me an email with any question you have. Just to mention a few helpful hints on how to be successful as an options trader. There\u2019s a lot of money to be made and I\u2019m here for you.<\/p>\n

This week I had a great week but to took a lot of trades. However, with the new commission free trades I have no problem nickel and dime\u2019ing the market to death; what ever it takes!<\/p>\n

Started worrying about the coronavirus\u2019 effect on Apple. It\u2019s a high priced stock so I decided to free up the cash. With the virus still very much a problem I don\u2019t see Apple moving very much higher until a vaccine. Apple is a great stock but I\u2019ll put the money somewhere else. I\u2019m still in Apple with the position in my Pillar of Strength Portfolio.<\/p>\n

Jabil (JBL) is lower from where I bought. I just grabbed a few dollars by selling a Call with a Strike Price where I bought the stock. The stock is lower from where I bought so the Premium was low.<\/p>\n

This was a Covered Call. The stock dropped a little so I wasn\u2019t assigned. I keep the premium and I keep the stock. Hopefully I\u2019ll get another Call sold this week.<\/p>\n
