I don’t like to start the weekly report with the same line every week but I had another great week. I put a total or $4350 in my mattress. It was the end of the month so an automatic withdrawal from my trading account hit my personal bank account. According to my “2017 Challenge” that withdrawal is now $4000. I post this information to let the new readers and Grasshoppers know what can be done if you out in your time and be careful. Let’s get into the weeks trades.<\/p>\n

Micron<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n On Monday I sold a 20 contract Call on Micron (MU). This was a one week trade and I brought in a premium of $1.00. on the 20 contracts thats $2000. A few hours later the stock dropped a little and the $1.00 premium was down to 70\u00a2. That’s a 30\u00a2 profit ($600) on my Short Call is just a hours. I decided to do a “Buy to Close” and lock in a $600 profit to start the week off right.<\/p>\n 9\/25\/27 \u2013 Sell to Open 20 MU 9\/29\/17 $36.50 C @ $1.00 (+$2000)<\/p>\n 9\/25\/27 \u2013 Buy to Close 20 MU 9\/29\/17 $36.50 C @ $70\u00a2 (-$1400)<\/p>\n Profit +$600<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n RH<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Also on Monday, I sold a 20 contract Call on RH. This was also a one week Call which had the same premium of $1.00 as my Micron trade. RH also dropped a little and I did a “Buy to Close” on Tuesday. My $1.00 premium was down to 20\u00a2. I sold the Call at $1.00 to bring in $2000 and the next day I bought the Call back for 20\u00a2 ($400) for a profit of $1600. A nice one day trade.<\/p>\n 9\/25\/17 \u2013 Sell to Open 20 RH 9\/29\/17 $74.50 C @ $1.00 (+$2000)<\/p>\n 9\/26\/17 \u2013 Buy to Close 20 RH 9\/29\/17 $74.50 C @ 20\u00a2 (-$400)<\/p>\n Profit +$1600<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Micron<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n When I sold the Call on MU on Monday I also bought 1000 shares at $35.55. When I did the “Buy to Close” on the option I kept the shares. On Wednesday the stock went up after their earnings announcement and I decided to take some profit on the stock. I felt there would be a pullback. I wish I didn’t because the stock never stopped going up. I didn’t completely lose out on the stock gain because I own an additional 1000 shares, which I still have.<\/p>\n 9\/25\/17 \u2013 Buy 1000 Shares MU @ $35.55<\/p>\n 9\/27\/17 \u2013 Sell 1000 Shares MU @ $36.20<\/p>\n Profit +$650<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n RH<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n After doing the “Buy to Close” with RH on Tuesday the stock moved again and I was able to sell another Call on Wednesday. It was another 20 contracts Call for a premium of 50\u00a2 ($1000). The stock never hit the Strike Price and the Call expired. I keep the $1000.<\/p>\n 9\/27\/17 \u2013 Sell to Open 20 RH 9\/29\/17 $74.50 C @ 50\u00a2 (+$1000)<\/p>\n 9\/29\/17 \u2013 Expired 20 RH 9\/29\/17 $74.50 C<\/p>\n Profit +$1000<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n U.S. Steel<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n My U.S. Steel trade was a 10 contract “Buy-Write.” I bought 1000 shares at $24.75 and sold a 20 contract Call with the Strike Price of $25.00. I only received a premium of 25\u00a2 ($250) but it is only a $24.75 stock and it was a 3 day trade. The 25\u00a2 was still a 1% return in 3 days. I wanted the stock to go up and it did. I was assigned at $25.00 and made another $250 on the stock sale. Another 1%! This “Buy-Write” brought in a total of $500 is 3 days. I like it!<\/p>\n 9\/27\/17 \u2013 Buy 1000 Shares X @ $24.75<\/p>\n 9\/29\/17 \u2013 Assigned 1000 Shares X @ $25.00<\/p>\n Profit +$250<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 9\/27\/17 \u2013 Sell to Open 10 X 9\/29\/17 $25.00 C @ $25\u00a2 (+$250)<\/p>\n 9\/29\/17 \u2013 Expired 10 X 9\/29\/17 $25.00 C<\/p>\n \u00a0Profit +$250<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Total “Buy-Write” profit +$500<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It looks like a lot of work but it really wasn’t. I timed the RH trade right and I was able to sell another Call on RH. It was a very nice week! How many people are making $4350 in a week sitting around in their underwear making a few trades?
