I sold 10 contracts of the AAPL 9\/18\/20 $120 Call for a premium of $1.60 for a total premium of $1600.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Buy 1000 Shares AAPL @ $117.50<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Sell to Open 10 AAPL 9\/18.20 $120.00 C @ $1.60 (+$1600)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Covered Call is with the best stock in the world. Getting the stock at $117.50 and receiving a $1.60 premium gives me a return of 1.3% for the premium only. You know this is a 4 day return! This trade fits into my &#8220;<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mainstbeatswallst.com\/?page_id=422\">1 Week\/1%<\/a><\/span>&#8221; strategy. If I don&#8217;t get assigned I keep my 1.3% return. If I do get assigned, I keep the 1.3%, plus I make $2500 on the stock sale. If that happens my return will be 3.4%. You can get a lot of great opportunities being an options trader but this kind of trade is what I live for.
