If you read my “Results Week Ending 7\/17\/20” you saw that I was happy my account brought in $9000 in premiums for the week. You also saw I was not happy that even though I brought in these premiums my account was down. My account was down because I was not assigned on most of my stock because the stock were down from where I bought them.<\/p>\n
As I write to report Calls I sold this morning my account is back up. It’s up $10,000 today. All the stock I was not assigned on are up today. Even with the DOW down! And with my stock up I was able to get new Calls sold to expire this Friday. So Far I was filled on 10 contracts of Draftking (DKNG), 10 contracts of Peloton (PTON) and 5 contracts of United Airlines (UAL). I’m still waiting to get filled on 1 contract of Nvidia (NVDA) and 10 contracts of Micron (MU).<\/p>\n

They are all Covered Calls on previously owned stock. These are shares I was nor assigned on last week. I already brought in nice premiums on all of them.<\/p>\n I’m still waiting to get filled on my MU Call.<\/p>\n After I sold the Call on PTON the stock took off. As I write it’s up $5.25 or 9%. If I waited a little longer I would have gotten a much larger premium. That’s the way it goes sometimes. You cannot let it bother you. I’m happy with the $1200 premium I got.
