This week I knocked the cover off the ball more than most weeks. In fact, I only had one bigger week since I started Main Street beats Wall Street<\/strong>. That was the week ending 9\/22\/16 where I did $21,100.<\/p>\n

This week was so big for 2 reasons. #1 was I got out of two LEAPS positions, and the other is Peloton continues to bring me in big money.<\/p>\n

I got out of a 1 contract LEAPS with AAPL for a $6775 profit and a 1 contract LEAPS with NVDA for a $4220 profit. Both stocks continued up but NVDA went up over additional $20 after I sold. I would have made a lot more but I’ll never apologize for taking profit.<\/p>\n

Lets take a look at the many trades I made this week for the monster profit.<\/p>\n

I was in this LEAPS for a little under 3 months and made a huge profit.<\/p>\n

Microsoft<\/strong><\/p>\n

MSFT was on the list of Unusual Activity this week. Their options were selling like crazy. I didn’t want to buy a short term option but I wanted a piece of the action for a short term play. I protected myself and bought a 2 contract option with the Expiration Date of 1\/15\/21. I stayed in the position for 3 days and got out with a $700 profit. I only invested $3750 and had a lot of protection. This was a great trade! 18.6% return.<\/p>\n

When PTON was at $61.50, and already in a 20 contract Covered Call, I sold another 10 contract Call, but this one was a Naked Call. I placed a “Buy-Stop” order at $64.50. The stock went to that level and I was filled on the buy order. Now I had another Covered Call, and I was assigned on these shares also. This was only a $500 premium but I made another $500 on the Stock sale.<\/p>\n
