This market is moving beyond irrational! This is my opinion. And when I have this opinion I take profits. I continue trading to develop new profit opportunity, but if I have a profit with a position I’m in, I like to take it.<\/p>\n
On 4\/17\/20 I bought 1 contract of the AAPL 1\/21\/22 $280 Call LEAPS for $45. This is a long option. As you know I don’t buy short term options but I will buy LEAPS options. I just sold my 1 contract Call for $112.75. 1 contract represents 100 shares. I’m in this position for under 3 months and I have a profit of $67.75. This is a Return on Investment of 150%. As I always say, this is the power of LEAPS. Buying any option gives you great gains if the stock goes up but LEAPS gives you the return of an option but you have a lot of protection against Time Decay.<\/p>\n
4\/17\/20 \u2013 Buy to Open 1 AAPL 1\/21\/22 $280.00 C @ $45.00<\/strong><\/p>\n 7\/6\/20 Sell to Close 1 AAPL 1\/21\/22 $280.00 C @ $112.75 <\/strong><\/p>\n If AAPL has a little bit of a pull back I will be buying another LEAPS position. Today with the stock up $10 I felt it was a great time to grab profit.<\/p>\n I bought this LEAPS when AAPL was at $280. If I bought the stock, and not the LEAPS, I would have had a Return on Investment (ROI) of 33%. With the buying of the LEAPS my return is 150%. You have to love LEAPS!
