I hope everyone had a great Father’s Day. I had a fantastic one! But because of Father’s Day I haven’t been near my computer the entire weekend. I had my kids over for a BBQ on the beautiful day here in NYC. I’ve been getting work done on my yard all week and had the rush on Saturday. It came beautiful! Because of the coronavirus I haven’t seen them much so it was very enjoyable.<\/p>\n

Here are my trades from last week. It seemed like everything moved the way I wanted. Before the end of the week I thought I’d be assigned on more of my positions but I was assigned on 2 big ones, PTON and NVDA. Let’s see how the trades worked out.<\/p>\n
Facebook<\/strong><\/p>\n I sold a 1 contract LEAPS on Facebook (FB). It may have been premature because the stock is still moving up, but I never feel like I made a mistake when I grab profit.<\/p>\n 5\/27\/20 \u2013 Buy to Open 1 FB 1\/21\/22 $220.00 C @ $43.00\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n 6\/18\/20 \u2013 Sell to Open 1 FB 1\/21\/20 $220.00 C @ $49.75 <\/strong><\/p>\n Peloton<\/strong><\/p>\n As last week, Peloton (PTON) is my crown jewel trade of the week. I bought 2000 shares at $47.24 and sold 20 contracts of the $48 Calls. And I was assigned! The Call gave me a premium of $4000 and the stock sale a profit of $1520. This simple Covered Call brought in a total of $5520. I got in at $361 and I’ve been selling Calls and not getting assigned. This week I was assigned. I made some nice profit with NVDA the last few weeks, let’s watch to see if I get back in this week.<\/p>\n 5\/19\/20 \u2013 Buy 200 Shares NVDA @ $361.00<\/strong><\/p>\n 6\/19\/20 \u2013 Assigned 200 Shares NVDA @ $365.00 <\/strong><\/p>\n 6\/15\/20 \u2013 Sell to Open 2 NVDA 6\/19\/20 $365.00 C @ $7.00 (+$1400)<\/strong><\/p>\n 6\/19\/20 \u2013 Expired 2 NVDA 6\/19\/20 $365.00 C <\/strong><\/p>\n Nutanix<\/strong><\/p>\n I’ve been in Nutanix (NTNX) for a few weeks. I think I want to move on for the stock so this week I sold a Call with a Strike Price below my by in price. I bought the stock at $23.65 and sold the $23.50 Call. If assigned I would have lost 15\u00a2 on the stock. I wasn’t worried about the 15\u00a2 because I brought in a premium for a few weeks and I up on this NTNX position. If I took a 15\u00a2 lose, no big deal!. But I wasn’t assigned so I received a higher premium and the strategy worked out. I have an order to sell another $23.50 Call now for a 60\u00a2 premium. I’ll let you know if, and when I get filled.<\/p>\n 6\/15\/20 \u2013 Sell to Open 10 NTNX 6\/19\/20 $23.50 C @ 40\u00a2 (+$400)<\/strong><\/p>\n 6\/19\/20 \u2013 Expired 10 NTNX 6\/19\/20 $23.50 C <\/strong><\/p>\n United Airlines<\/strong><\/p>\n Bought 500 shares of UAL at $36.50 and sold 5 contracts of the $37 Calls. I received a great premium and was not assigned. I placed another order to sell 5 contracts of the $37 Calls to expire this Friday. I was not assigned.
