Hello Main Street beats Wall Street,<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a while since my last post. Not because I\u2019ve stopped trading\u2014actually, I\u2019m trading more than ever\u2014but the end of summer has been crazy busy. Between managing my own account, running The Grasshopper Project<\/em>, and teaching (with students often coming to my home during the trading day), finding time to post hasn\u2019t been easy.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve also realized I tend to pack too much into these posts. Especially the week-ending reports, where I sometimes have 15+ trades to cover, and the posts get a bit long.<\/p>\n

On another note, I\u2019ve noticed my inbox has been quiet lately. Sometimes I\u2019ll go a whole month without getting an email. It\u2019s not a big deal, but it\u2019s always nice to know someone is listening \ud83e\udd23. The timing feels funny because this market has been going really well. If you\u2019re having trouble getting started, I encourage you to monitor The Grasshopper Project<\/em>. That account started with $10K on June 23rd and is already up 25%.<\/p>\n

Going forward, I\u2019ll work on making these weekly reports shorter. Instead of listing every trade here, I\u2019ll provide a link to the Trade History page where you can see them all. I\u2019ll also place the most recent week\u2019s trades at the top, so you don\u2019t have to scroll to the bottom.<\/p>\n

Before diving into this week\u2019s results, I have an announcement: with several of my students, I\u2019m launching an investment club starting January 1st. It will be structured as a registered LLC. Each share in the club will be $5,000, with a maximum of four shares per member. Based on current interest, we expect to start with at least $100K. Now for the results: this week was strong. My personal account is up between 70\u201380% year-to-date, and The Grasshopper Project<\/em> (since June 23rd) is up over 25%.<\/p>\n
