I wanted to start 2022 with a clean slate. However, I did carry over 2 positions to trade with. One is 100 shares of Tesla and the other is 1000 shares of Nvidia.<\/p>\n<p>I was in NVDA to end the year at $294.10. The market opened up and NVDA shot up to $307. I placed a Stop Loss at $305. The market backed off and my stop price was hit. I start the new year with a $10.900 gain on my first trade. I was out of this position by 10am.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>12\/31\/21 \u2013 Buy 1000 Shares NVDA @ $294.10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>1\/3\/22 \u2013 Sell 1000 Shares NVDA @ $305.00 <\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Profit +$10,900<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s always nice to start a new year with a gain like this, especially \u00a0after a down year.
