Nvidia Announced a 4:1 stock split back in early June. They set the stock split for July 19, 2021. This was 3 months ago. On the announcement I put my split strategy into action immediately. I bought Long \u00a0option positions starting on the announcement. It was a high priced stock so I started my strategy slowly with only 1 contract. I knew it would be a long process and a lot of trades. The early options I bought I knew I’d be out before the split. I was taking advantage of the stock movement as a result of the split announcement. As time went by I bought positions to hold through the split and get the extra contracts from the split.<\/p>\n

Today I sold my last position from my split positions. The position I sold today was a 2 contract position and had an Expiration Date of Jan, 2023. When I buy options I never hold until expiration. I go out with my Expiration Date for protection only. This position still had over a year until expiration. I sold to liquidate and to lock in profit.<\/p>\n

Below are all the positions I entered, and are now exited. When you look at my results remember the split announcement was 4 months ago and the split was 3 months ago. Let’s take a look at how my strategy worked.<\/p>\n
