So far this is a typical September. Considering the ups and downs I had a very good week. I’m not making many Grasshopper Trades because I am working on my Day Trading strategy. I’m not posting those trades yet but I like what I’m doing. My weekly results do not include my Day Trading.<\/p>\n

There are trades listed below that are a result of me Day Trading. Let me explain.<\/p>\n

With most of my Day Trades I buy 1000 shares of a stock and hope for a 20 cents move before I get out. If the stock moves 20 cents, on the 1000 shares, I make $200. Believe it or not sometimes the stock moves less than 20 cents and the position reverses. If it looks like I’m not going to get out that day with the $200 profit I sell a 10 contract, 1 week Call. Most of the stocks I’m Day Trading have pretty nice premiums. Falling into this category from the list below are: CHWY, BBIG, SPRT, UVXY and PLUG. With most of these stocks I made many Day Trades, and they were successful as Day Trades.<\/p>\n

When it comes to Grasshopper Trades, any of the Master Trades below I would do as a Grasshopper Trade with less contracts. The problem is getting the trades out to you. Because of the time involved I haven’t been posting all my Master Trades. I’m gonna try to post the Master Trades I feel will make good Grasshopper Trades with less contracts.<\/p>\n

With my lack of Grasshopper Trades I only made $120 this week. It was with one trade with U.S. Steel listed below. However, if you look at all my trades I made $13,900. This is a great week!<\/p>\n

I’ve been doing a good job of getting out of some positions and being more liquid for Day Trading. And, as I mentioned, some Day Trades become one week Covered Calls if the Day Trades don’t work the way I want. This is why I have a lot more trade this week.<\/p>\n

I’ll start with my lone Grasshopper Trade. I own 400 shares of U.S. Steel (X) and sold a 4 contract Call. It expired yesterday without assignment. This stock has been up and down and I haven’t been assigned. I would like to move on from X and use the money for my new venture of Day Trading.<\/p>\n

When the Delta Variant started to spread I felt ABNB would get hurt. I decided to take a chance and Short the stock. Shorting is very dangerous so it was a ballsy move. I felt with the Delta Variant and September upon us, the stock would come down. I was wrong, but I only shorted 100 shares. Even though it was a small position it turned out to hurt me in a big way. The stock did nothing but go up. I had strong conviction that it would come down but it kept moving up. This week I capitulated and bought 100 shares to cover my position. If Murphy’s Law works, it will come down this week.<\/p>\n

Along with this Short position I also sold a Put with the Strike Price at my buy-in price. Shorting and selling a Put is similar to a Covered Call strategy. I was able to keep the Put money but it’s only $160. This position is listed below.<\/p>\n
